Renju Tago is in dire need of a heart transplant.

Purpose of donation

Renju Tago was born on Sep 25th 2005 in Shibukawa city in Gunma prefecture.
Three months after he was born he was diagnosed with dilated cardiomyopathy since then he was admitted into Gunma Prefecture Pediatric Hospital. He was given treatment for his heart, however, the only way for him to recover is to have a heart transplant.


Currently in Japan, according to the law children fifteen years and under not allowed to have a heart transplant. This means that the only other alternative is for Renju to undergo a heart transplant overseas.

Currently UCLA Hospital in California, USA has consented to admit Renju to under go heart surgery. However the cost of transporting Renju to America, having the heart transplant and the after surgery treatment will amount to 95,000,000 yen. This is an amount more than the average person can afford to pay. Even though this a harsh reality, Renju’s parents want to do all that they can to help him. That is why they decided for him to undergo the heart transplant in America. We at Ren-kun wo sukuukai also want to help him that is why we formed this organization.


As this is Renju’s only chance for survival we are asking you from bottom of our hearts to please make a donation. No amount is too small. It is our hope for Renju to live to see a bright feature.
